Johannesburg Wedding Cinematography
SkyRidge Collective is based in Pretoria and travels to Johannesburg for wedding films across Gauteng. Below is a look at our cinematic style, along with how our film process works if you're getting married in Johannesburg.
These weddings were photographed in and around Pretoria, Gauteng — we’d love to bring the same documentary approach to your Johannesburg wedding day.
Real couples, real moments, told from beginning to end. See the full stories — and watch our latest wedding film — on the SkyRidge Collective homepage.

From the very beginning, the service was nothing short of exceptional. What really stands out to us is that they became part of our wedding memories.”
“We had such a great experience with SkyRidge. From the very beginning we had so much confidence and piece of mind that we made the right choice leading up to our wedding day. The photos went above what we imagined.”
The Eye
We look beyond the obvious moments — the glance, the reaction, the hand squeeze, the quiet moments between the big ones.
The Story
Photography and cinematography work together to tell one cohesive story, from the nervous excitement before the ceremony to the last dance.
The Experience
Calm when you need us. Present when it matters. We want you to feel comfortable enough to forget the cameras are there.
Four collections — Horizon, Altitude, Apex and Observatory — each available as photography, cinematography, or both together.
Horizon
A refined essential wedding story experience.
Altitude
The complete SkyRidge wedding story experience.
Apex
A luxury cinematic wedding production.
Observatory
A bespoke storytelling experience, tailored entirely around your vision.
Yes. Our Unified collections bring photography and cinematography together as one cohesive visual story, from the nervous excitement before the ceremony to the last dance. Photography-only and cinematography-only collections are also available.
SkyRidge Collective is built around our two co-founders — Rynhardt behind the camera for film, Christo behind the lens for photography. A second shooter can be added to any collection if you’d like additional coverage.
We’re based in Pretoria and travel throughout South Africa — including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban — as well as internationally for destination weddings. Tell us where your day is happening and we’ll confirm travel arrangements as part of your enquiry.
Every collection can be tailored to your needs. Popular add-ons include drone coverage, extra edited photos, a longer feature film, a social media reels package, a second shooter and a same-day edit — speak to us about building a package that fits your vision exactly.
Get in touch through our enquiry form or WhatsApp with your wedding date and details. We reply within 24 hours to confirm availability and walk you through next steps.
